Not fewer than 15 people have been confirmed dead in a ghastly auto accident in Zamfara state on Sunday, January 8.

News Agency of Nigeria reports that the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) Zamfara State Command confirmed the deaths in the accident which occurred along Gusau-Tsafe road in the early hours of the day.
Amos Thilizer, the FRSC sector commander, said the accident was caused by a cement trailer which lost control and ran into a bus, killing all the passengers on board.

The trailer and two others with sustained various degrees of injuries and have been taken to General hospital Tsafe for medical care.
The bodies of the dead were deposited at the Tsafe general hospital mortuary while efforts were being made to contact their relatives.
Meanwhile, three people have been left dead in a ghastly accident that occurred in Plateau state on Monday, January 2.
The accident involved an SUV car, a tricycle, and two motorcycles and according to an eyewitness, a mechanic whose name is unknown caused the accident when he drove the car that belonged to his customer.
