Frenzy in Rivers as IPOB members are released from prison (Photos)

Reports from Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital, suggest that some members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have been released from prison.

According to sources, the IPOB members released, were those arrested in Port Harcourt since 2016.

It was gathered that they have all been discharged and acquitted from all treasonable charges against them.

Meanwhile, forty-five suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra were arraigned at two Magistrate Courts in Port Harcourt on Monday evening by the Rivers State Police Command.

The suspects were arrested for allegedly embarking on an unauthorised rally/protest on Friday in Port Harcourt and its environs in support of President Donald Trump of the United States of America while also calling for the release of their leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
