– Adesina mentioned security and anti-corruption war specific areas the president has made appreciable progress
– But Adesina said his boss has not done well in the area of boosting the economy of Nigeria
Presidential Media Adviser, Femi Adesina, on Friday, listed specific areas where President Muhammadu Buhari has made great achievements since he emerged as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Adesina, on “This Morning” programme with the Television Continental, said Buhari has done exceptionally well in the area of security, considering the reduction in the rage of Boko Haram insurgency.
Also, Adesina said the President has done well in the area of anti-corruption crusade, just as he gave pass mark to the President.

But in a series of tweets by TV Continental, Adesina was quoted to have scored his boss low in the area of boosting the economy of Nigeria, maintaining that: “For security, the government has done well, also it has a pass mark in anti-corruption but not economy.”
He added that this government is not failing saying the government is on course it will get to where it is going.
He explained that the president will not back down on his war against corruption but noted that before maximum success could be attained, it will take a gestation period of not less than two to three years.
Adesina further said: “By the end of 2018, Nigeria will not import any form of grains and by 2019 we’ll be self-sufficient in food.”
