– The little boy who was run down by terrorist in Chibok is currently doing well, doctors have said

– Ali Ahmadu, the doctors said, is very strong and determined to live

– Ahmadu has gone through two surgeries – five hours and 48 hours – this September

The six year old by from Chibok community, Ali Ahmadu, who was attacked by Boko Haram terrorists three years ago is currently doing well, his doctors have said.

The doctors also described the little boy as strong and someone who is determined to live.

Ahmadu survived an intensive corrective surgery in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) after he was left with a spinal cord injury by the insurgents.

He was airlifted to Dubai through the aid of Dickens Sanomi Foundation (DSF) on September 10 for medical treatment.

Speaking of the boy’s recovery after his 48 hours long surgery, the founder of the Global Initiative for Peace, Love and Care (GIPLC), Nuhu Kwajafa, said: “After five hours in surgery, on September 17, 2017, and 48 hours in the intensive care unit, to God’s glory Ali Ahmadu Chibok had a very successful procedure.

He said: “He is currently stabilizing and recovering.”

“It has been a Divine Journey starting from far away Chibok in 2014; a little boy left to dead, underneath a tree, after a vicious Boko Haram attack, to where we are today…

In young Ali we have a fighting spirit, a resolute and charming soul, beating all odds to survive and to walk again, this reflects so truly the Nigerian Spirit, we are indeed grateful to God,” Kwajafa said.

Also present at the hospital with Ahmadu were the chairman of the board of trustees for DSF and other members of the Dickens Sanomi Foundation.

The surgery was also sponsored by the foundation.

ZENITHBLOG.com earlier reported that the Dickens Sanomi Foundation offered to pay a total of $48,000 (about N17.5 million) medical bill needed to facilitate Ahmadu’s medical trip in Dubai.

The foundation in fulfilling its promise paid the full medical bill of $48,000 (about N17.5 million) for the surgery as Ali left Nigeria to Dubai on Sunday, September 10, 2017.
