Ever since the president extended his leave indefinitely, many Nigerians became befuddled. The nation no doubt needs her leader in order to know where to go from here. Although, the president before leaving Nigeria assigned all duties to the vice president, Nigerians still feel like they need to know what s going on with him.

Nigeria recorded so many events while the president was away; some principal office holders had life-changing events that made President Buhari reach out to them in his ‘ghost mode’. Many Nigerians faulted this as they found it weird that the president would call to console a bereaved official while Nigerians want to see him address them in order to quell their fears.

Over the past few weeks that he has been away, some officials have received calls from him while some took the pain to go visit him in London. It is perceived that the president’s best means of reaching out to his home country is through phone calls.

The presidential media team received a call from President Buhari over the weekend. The information minister was said to have spoken with the president within that period too. President Buhari has been reaching out to some of his loyal executives in order to reassure them of his sound health.

Since some key officials have received calls from the head of the nation, it is just a matter of time before the others get to hear from him too. If this happens, check out the prominent Nigerians that are most likely to hear from him soon:

1. Abiola Ajimobi

Ajimobi is the current governor of Oyo state. The state governor is most likely to be on the list of those the president will be reaching out to next. He organized a praying session in his state for the citizens to pray for the safe return president.

Both the Muslim and Christian faithfuls gathered at the Lekan Salami Sports complex in Adamasingba to pray for the Nigerian leader.

They also prayed for the development of the nation. In appreciation of this, the state governor may receive a call from the president soon.
