On Friday, March 24, President Muhammadu Buhari wrote a letter to the British government commiserating with them on the recent terrorists attack at the Parliament.
The special adviser to the president on media and publicity Femi Adesina in a statement said the president also thanked the British government for their efforts in helping helping Nigeria degrade Boko Haram elements.

The appreciation, Adesina said was contained in a formal letter the president wrote to the British Prime Minister Theresa May.
Adesina said the president appreciated Britain for the effective materials and and logistical support to Nigeria against insurgency.

He said: “According to the President, in spite of “isolated attacks against soft targets,” the British assistance helped in flushing “Boko Haram out of their hide-out base and severely degraded their capacity to mount a serious attack on Nigerian assets.”
The president said, “my heartfelt condolences to the injured and families of the dead” in Wednesday’s terrorist attack in London.”

He also added that the terror attack, “underscores the threat we all live under,” adding that, “terrorism has no borders and no season.”
