Former aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode has mocked the travails of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) comptroller-general Hameed Ali at the Nigerian Senate.
Fani-Kayode says Hameed Ali taking Nigeria for granted by ignoring Senate directive to come in Customs uniform
Fani-Kayode tweeted on Sunday that Ali was arrogant to have ignored the Senate’s order to appear before lawmakers in Customs uniform for a briefing on a controversial policy on payment of duties for old vehicles.
The former media director of the Goodluck Jonathan presidential campaign organisation in 2015 said Ali should have done exactly as the Senate order.
The Senate had earlier admitted Ali into the upper house of legislature’s chambers on Thursday, March 16 and questioned him on why he has been defying its directive to dress properly for his appearance.
