A statement implicating the chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) Danladi Yakubu Umar in a N10 million bribery case has been ruled by a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja as freely made by Ali Gambo Abdullahi, his personal assistant and protocol officer.
The Guardian reports that the court therefore dismissed the claim by Abdullahi that the implicating statement he made in 2013 was done under duress from the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
