4 critical reasons why Jesus had to be born by a woman who has known no man

Below are 4 very important reasons why Jesus had to be born by a maiden.

1. To fulfill prophecy

Isaiah 7:14 “therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign behold a shall conceive and bear a son”

Luke 1:35 “The Holyghost shall come upon thee and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee:therefore also that Holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God”

Isaiah prophesied about the birth of Jesus and 700 years later it came to pass. The purpose of the irth of Jesus was not to show how miraculous God is, but rather for the sole purpose of his mission on earth.

Jesus could have still been the most powerful man who ever lived on earth if he was born of the seed of a man. Even Moses had to be born of the seed of man. The greatest prophets came from the seed of man so it has nothing to do with power, but that the word of God be fulfilled.

2. Adam failed

When Adam disobeyed God, the power of sin took over the earth, hence every man born into the world was born with the nature of sin.

The devil and sin ruled over d earth because man had the greatest authority on earth but lost it to the devil.

Hence Christ would not have been any different if in his veins flowed the blood of Adam,

whose race he had come to redeem. A more superior blood was needed.

3. The lamb

Leviticus 4:32 says: “And if he bring a lamb, he shall bring it a female without blemish.” One realizes that a spotless sacrifice was needed.

In allusion to the era of the Levites, God always demanded sacrifice of animals without blemish for atonement. In all God always demanded blood, because every sin deserves death but only life can be used in exchange for life and life is in the blood.

If a blood had to be shed for d remission of sin then that blood had to come from a pure source without any spot.

No man born of the seed of man was qualified to be that sacrifice because there was death or sin in d blood of every man born of d seed of man.

4. He would not have been perfect sacrifice

Jesus would not have fit as the perfect sacrifice if the came from the seed of a man.

That was the reason why God had to used the holy spirit on Mary, was so that Jesus would serve as the perfect lamb that takes away the sins of the world.

Christ’s sole purpose of coming to the earth was to wipe away the iniquities of man.

Israel made an atonement which kept them free from sin for one year and after that it had to be renewed. Lev 16:1-34. But the blood of Jesus was a one time sacrifice for all eternity.
