You don’t need to rush to the bank to check your Bank Verification Number (BVN) anytime you need it. You can always check it on your phone. The process is easy and instant. Learn how to check BVN on phone below.
BVN (Bank Verification Number) is your biometric identification number in the database of the Central Bank of Nigeria. It is a modern security measure used by the CBN (Central Bank of Nigeria) to reduce fraudulent activities in the banking system in Nigeria. Every account holder is required to have a Bank Verification Number which is linked to all their bank accounts. The Bank Verification Number is linked to your facial photograph, fingerprint and other relevant information in the database of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
After you have completed your Bank Verification Number registration with your bank, you can check your BVN verification code on your mobile phone by dialing a specified USSD code. This code works without the Internet and you can dial it from any mobile network in Nigeria.
