Not fewer than five people were killed on Sunday, January 29 when some gunmen stormed a Quebec city mosque during evening prayers and opened fire on Muslim faithful.
Reuters reports that the mosque’s president told reporters on Sunday that the attack shook residents of the Canadian city.
It also quoted a witness as saying the gunmen, who were three in number, opened gunfire on about 40 people inside the Quebec City Islamic Cultural Centre.
