Campaign posters for the election of Governor Abdul-Aziz Yari Abubakar of Zamfara state, for president in 2019, has reportedly flooded Katsina state.
The posters bearing the picture of Governor Abubakar, had the inscriptions such as, Ga Magajin Baba Buhari, Vote Shehi for 2019.

The posters were spotted at Kofar Kwaya, Kofar Guga round about, Dutsin-ma road and other strategic places in Katsina city on Sallah Eve.
It was signed by an unknown group called ‘Shehi Network Allience Forum Of Nigeria’.

However, on Thursday, August 24, the governor said he had no presidential ambition and dismissed as fake trending online media campaign for him to run in 2019.

He said in a statement issued in Gusau by his media aide, Ibrahim Dosara, that his main preoccupation now was to deliver on the mandate given to him by the people of the state.
Months ago, ZENITHBLOG.com reported that campaign posters for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019 flooded the city of Makurdi, Benue state.
The posters were seen on the walls of the Federal Medical Center, Wurukum Round-about and other areas in Makurdi Town.
Also, barely three days after Nigeria celebrated its 2017 Democracy Day, the 2019 presidential campaign posters of ex-Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa state, flooded some parts of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
