The National Leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), visited government house, Makurdi, Benue state, on Friday, September 8, to pay a sympathy visit to the people of Benue over the flood incidence in the state.

The National Legal Adviser of the PDP, Rt. Hon. Dave Iorhemba was also on the entourage with the board of trustee member, Mrs Magaret Icheen.
The state exco of the party led by the state Chairman, Sir. John Ngbede and other members of his state working committee were on ground to receive leadership from the National Headquarters.

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state has ordered residents affected by the flood to leave to safety while those in other areas prone to tragedy should be evacuated.
Petra Akinti, the chief press secretary to Governor Bello, said the government was doing everything to protect lives.
