– Acting President Yemi Osinbajo praised the initiative saying it would impact positively on displaced persons
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) recently deployed its C-130H transport aircraft and Mi-17 helicopter in support of the new plan announced by the federal government.
The aircraft are for delivering relief materials to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the Northeast region of Nigeria.
Acting President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, who unveiled the new plain in Maiduguri, Borno state on June 8, 2017, said IDPs would no longer have to queue for food but rather have the food items delivered at their doorsteps.
