– Buratai said he was not accusing the group of sabotage in the fight against terrorism and insurgency
Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai, has denied an allegation that he accused humanitarian agencies of wastage of donor funds.
The Nation recently reported that Buratai had alleged that some of the 75 humanitarian agencies in the north east were involved in wastage of donor funds.
The chief of army said the information is incorrect and misrepresentation of facts.

ZENITHBLOG.com gathered that the Nigerian Army had been in good working and cordial relationship with all the UN agencies and the NGOs in our country.
It was learnt that the reported allegation was a result of research work and quotation from news report of a Nigerian news medium.
”We wish to state unequivocally that we appreciate the role of the UN, its agencies and all the NGOs operating in the north east as they contribute immeasurably in alleviating the plight of the Internally Displaced Persons.

”We would therefore continue to support and assist them in any way possible in the discharge of their legitimate humanitarian duties,” the chif of Army said.
Meanwhile, ZENITHBLOG.com reports that the Nigerian Army on Saturday, June 3 graduated a total of 200 officers who participated in its 2017 Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC).
They were enlisted after a colourful ceremony that included a drill and following their successful completion of a professional training at the Nigerian Army School of Infantry, Jaji, in Kaduna, Kaduna state.
82 of the newly enlisted are medical doctors with eight as consultants in various fields of medicine while 26 are lawyers.
