JUST IN: Cameroon under heavy attack by suspected Boko Haram bombers

– Boko Haram bombers have reportedly struck in Cameroon within the past 24 hours

– A bomber blew himself up without civilian casualties left one soldier dead

– The bombing incident took place at the security perimeter of the Bir camp in Kolofata

A bombing took place on Friday, June 9, in the vicinity of Bouvare (Kolofata) near the Nigeria-Cameroon border.

The bombing which fortunately did not claim any civilian casualties but that of the bomber suggests that the Boko Haram insurgency is also affecting other countries.

Sadly one soldier was killed and two sustained injuries.

ZENITHBLOG.com gathered that bomber managed to infiltrate the security perimeter of the bir camp in Kolofata and blew himself up.

24 hours.

According to an earlier report by ZENITHBLOG.com, suspected Boko Haram sect members launched new attacks in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital.

Gunshots erupted in the lately peaceful Borno state capital around 7 pm on Wednesday, June 7, after the terrorists allegedly attacked the Giwa military barracks located on the outskirts of Maiduguri.

Residents in the Jidari and Polo areas of Maiduguri began to flee the city after hearing gunfire, a situation which caused confusion and a mass exodus of residents throughout the city.
