Politics: Onuka rises Anambra IPAC executive


AWKA—THE Anambra State director of Peoples Democratic Change, PDC, Evangelist Isaac Onuka has developed the state administrator of the Inter Party Advisory Council, IPAC.

In a distinctly challenged race held in Awka, Onuka surveyed 32 votes to crush the state administrator of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Ndubuisi Nwobu who scored 26 cast a ballot.

Representatives from 58 political gatherings partook in the race, which occurred at the state central station of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

Other chosen authorities were Kenneth Okafor (Deputy Chairman), Sam Ezeasor (Secretary), Sylvester Okeke (Financial Secretary), Steve Edekobi (PRO), Chibuike Onyekwu (PRO), Sylvester Edekobi (Organizing Secretary, Mrs Alexis Armah (Treasurer) and Don Igbokwubili (Legal Adviser).

Onuka said that after the decision, his need is bind together all the enrolled political gatherings in the state under the umbrella of IPAC to have the capacity to assume the job of educating INEC on ways regarding supporting Nigeria's vote based system.

He stated: "Every political gathering are equivalent and they should be given equivalent chance to take part in the appointive procedure. We need to guarantee that inside vote based system is polished among the political gatherings and it would be my need to guarantee that IPAC individuals are associated with free and reasonable decision.

"As a political association, we will dependably toe the way of truth. We won't go about as a resistance or weight gathering and we will battle against division of gatherings and INEC state of mind of positioning some political gatherings above others."
