Massive corruption exposed at Federal High Court Jalingo

A Nigerian named Abdulmumin Adam Imam has exposed an alleged corruption at the Federal High Court of Nigeria, Jalingo division, Taraba state.

Imam who took to his Facebook page to explain what he went through at the court, narrated how he paid N1,000 for an affidavit application but the receipt given to him was N100.

He wrote: “I was at the Federal High Court of Nigeria, Jalingo division, Taraba state for an affidavit application today. I was asked to pay N1,000 at the application office. The lady that collected my money after the application, divided it into two and directed me to pay the N500 at the accountant or cashier’s office. I went and paid the money.

“However, when I received a receipt of my payment by email, it showed that the Federal Government TSA received only N100! Please what happened to the remaining N900?”

The post got massive reactions on Facebook as many liked, commented and shared Imam’s post.

While some blamed the Nigerian judicial system, others called out civil servants who they accuse of ripping the federal government off.

Meanwhile, Senator Isa Hamman Misau representing Bauchi Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly has been declared wanted for questioning by the Nigeria Police Force.

Reports say the police want to speak with Misau over alleged forgery and desertion from the force among other things. Misau’s trouble began after he told National Assembly correspondents on Friday, August 25 that there is huge corruption in the police involving payments for special security services to corporate bodies, oil firms and highly placed citizens in the country.

The lawmaker also accused Inspector General of Police Ibrahim Idris of being involved in high-level extortion.
