After an immensely tense period as altercations allegedly occurred between soldiers carrying out the Operation Python Dance campaign, and members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), an uneasy calm has finally been restored to Umuahia, the Abia state capital.
The development was made public on the Facebook page of Abia Breaking News.

ZENITHBLOG.com gathers that there is now vehicular movement on major roads in the state capital, including Bank road, ,Aba road, Bende road, Azikiwe & Ikot Ekpene road.
ATM’s have also reportedly begun functioning again, as residents return to their normal way of life.

Meanwhile, ZENITHBLOG.com previously reported that members of the Indigenous People of Biafra reportedly attacked the residence of the police commissioner in Umuahia, the state capital of Abia state.
Also, three IPOB members were allegedly shot dead by security officers in the state capital.
