Some troops of the Nigerian Army celebrated Eid El-Kabir with some members of the host communities they were deployed to.
The troops also played a novelty football match at Kareto in Borno state.
The Nigerian Army on its Facebook page said the match took place between troops from the Headquarters 5 Brigade staff and 158 Task Force Battalion.

ZENITHBLOG.com earlier reported that some troops of the Nigerian military on Friday, September observed the Eid El-Kabir prayer in their various camps.
The Army also said that some residents of Dikwa, town, a community in Borno state were not left out in the event as they joined millions of Muslims all over the world to observe Sallah celebration.
