ZENITHBLOG.com came across a video of the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Paul Arkwright, comfortably speaking pidgin.
In a bid to show his solidarity and familiarity with Nigeria and Nigerians, Arkwright responded in Pidgin while he was being interviewed by a BBC Africa correspondent recently.
The British High Commissioner was asked several questions including his favourite Nigerian food and what he would miss when he leaves Nigeria, to which he answered “suya and Nigeria beer” he also said he would miss the “Nigerian people, the sunshine, the suya and the Nigeria beer“
He was also asked who his best football player is, and he said “for me o, Jay Jay Okocha na the best player, best footballer in the world ever.“
