The members of the protesting union claimed that they are tired of promises and that the authorities are slow to implement any measures. The agreement was developed during the earlier meetings when ASUU strike 2017 had only just begun.
Now the government and the union have reached an agreement on a number of points. Authorities assert that they will fulfill what was promised, taking into account available resources.

- Financial support for the development of universities.
- Earnings of academic workers.
- Necessity to make significant efforts to improve the staff development schools.
- Implementation of National Industrial Court decisions.
- Pension support for academic workers.
