A faceless volunteers group has launched a campaign online asking Nigerians to join them in their quest to ensure that Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo becomes Nigeria’s president in 2019.
ZENITHBLOG.com observed that the group is using a website – http://ift.tt/2xVbJpI to push their agenda.

It is however not clear who the sponsors of the group are as numbers displayed on the website are not Nigerian numbers, while an email ZENITHBLOG.com sent to the mail address on the website bounced back.

The group however stated clearly on its site that the vice president is not party to their activities or funding them.

Osinbajo has not publicly revealed what his plans for the 2019 elections are.
The vice president’s public ratings however soared during his time as Nigeria’s acting president as the business of governance became active and fast paced.
Many Nigerians began canvassing for the vice president to be elevated as the country’s leader as a result of his performance during the time he was in charge of the nation.
President Muhammadu Buhari’s health challenges has affected the government’s pace as the president was nicknamed ‘baba go-slow’ by some his critics earlier in the life of his administration.
The president had on several occasions, expressed confidence in the capabilities of Osinbajo, even while he was away for medical vacation.
Meanwhile, Nigeria’s former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo recently stated that President Buhari has not disappointed him with his performance in office.
Speaking in an interview with the BBC, Obasanjo said President Buhari has performed fairly well in areas of fighting corruption.
He opined not everyone would be satisfied with the way President Buhari has gone about governance, but said he (Buhari) has tackled corruption.
