Serenity seems to have return to the hometown of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu after the recent military invasion.
Photographs seen by ZENITHBLOG.com showed various degrees of destruction at the palace of Nnamdi Kanu’s father Eze Sir I.O Kanu.
The photos show plastic chairs including photo frames of the leader of the IPOB littered around the palace and its environs.

While the place looked deserted, there was a dead dog seen right inside the compound.

Also, the photos showed cars including a dark blue four wheel drive with shattered glass outside the palace.
ZENITHBLOG.com had reported that Tonia, a sister to the leader of the IPOB had alleged that soldiers of the Nigerian army invaded their compound in Afara Ukwu, Umuahia shooting at the window of her brother.
Also, a counsel to the IPOB leader, Ifeanyi Ejiofor said, the residence of his client was under siege by the military operatives.
He further called on the federal government to immediately withdraw the troops from Kanu’s residence.
