Thousands of Nigerian youths from the all states of the federation on Friday, September 8, stormed the Eagles Square, Abuja.
The event organized by the National Youths Council of Nigeria is tagged ‘National Prayer Summit’.
It’s a three days fasting and prayers for national unity, security and well-being of Nigeria’s economy, with today being the last day of the three-day event.

They also prayed for the security and well-being of Nigeria’s economy
The event which is under the chairmanship of Ambassador Sukubo Sara-Igbe Sukubo is in partnership with Belema Foundation and Jack-rich Tein Special Support Initiatives.

His words: “At a time there is tension and agitation all over the nation, this is the right time for such an event so I commend them for this.”
Another participant from Sokoto state, Abubakar Abdullahi said the initiative will foster unity and progress for the nation.
”Prayers are very important in our national life. Most of the distractions in this country are spiritual so there is a need for us to counter them in the spiritual realm,” he said.

Almost all the youths in the arena had the Nigerian flag which they waved intermittently at every given opportunity.

Dozens of security operatives were also on ground to ensure that there is no break down of law and order.
ZENITHBLOG.com earlier reported that some women in Imo state had held prayers session for the quick recovery of President Buhari.
The women under the aegis of Okigwe South Women prayed for the president at the local government headquarters of Obowo in Imo state.
The women during their prayers asked God to guide all the political leaders in Nigeria.
They also prayed for God’s mercy upon Nigeria as a nation.
