16-year-old Nigerian student constructs solar-powered car (photos, video)

A young and talented boy from Ebonyi state Ihere-serg Mascot has assembled a car which is powered by solar energy.

The 16-year-old boy said his car does not emit gas neither does it use fuel.

According to Facebook user, Honourable Agwu Francis, Mascot presented the car to Governor David Nweze Umahi of Ebonyi state at the government house, Abakaliki.

In the post shared, it could be seen that the solar-powered car was driven to the government house by Mascot and a friend who rode in the car.

The car is complete with two side mirrors, a bonnet, a windshield and so on.

It could also be seen that the car was constructed with scraps due to lack of materials for the young student.

If the genius student could construct the solar-powered vehicle perfectly with scraps imagine what he could do with perfect tools.

This type of car produced in Nigerian would not only boost the automobile industry but also improve our economy.
