– Five suspected kidnappers have denied their involvement in the crime
– The kidnappers have been accused of masterminding the abduction of students and staff of a Turkish school in January
– The kidnappers however pleaded not guilty before a judge in Abuja
Five individuals suspected to have masterminded the kidnapping of some students and staff of Nigeria Tulip International School, Isheri in Ogun state have denied their confession of the crime.
The suspects who were arraigned before Justice John Tsoho of the Federal High Court pleaded not guilty to the charges leveled against them.

At the hearing, the state prosecutor Aliyu Kayode said the Nigeria Police Force is ready to prove its case and has all evidence to nail the suspected kidnappers.
Having taken their pleas, the trial judge ordered that they be remanded in Kuje Prison pending the outcome of their trial.

Tsoho further adjourned the matter to Thursday, September 28, for commencement of trial.
The suspects during a parade at the Force headquarters had earlier confessed to kidnapping the students and staff of the Turkish school.
ZENITHBLOG.com had reported how some gunmen invaded the school which was formerly known as Turkish International School on January 14.

The gunmen men in a white Hilux van succeeded in abducting five students and two teachers from the school.
They were later released 11 days after a ransom was paid to the kidnappers who demanded N1.2 billion.
Although the Kidnappers later reduced the ransom to N750 million, it is however, not clear how much was later paid for the release of the victim.
