Former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has called on President Muhammdu Buhari to immediately resign from his position as president.

Fani-Kayode who demanded for the resignation of Buhari in a Tweet on Friday, June 2, said it was obvious that God had taken power away from Buhari.

The former minister cautioned the president against clinging on to power at all cost, and advised Buhari to let power go because God had given it to another.

However, shortly after he made the statement on tweeter, he deleted the tweet

Meanwhile, the former has faulted the statement made by the attorney general and minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, statement that ‘no amount of advocacy or agitation would lead to restructuring.

The former minister warned that Fani-Kayode further said that if there was restructuring, then there was no Nigeria.

He also dismissed the hopes that restructuring of Nigeria could be achieved through the National Assembly.
