With the continued vision to ensure that all Nigerians, irrespective of the tribe and ethnicity benefit from the life-impacting health camp project being put together by Power Oil the Nigerian no.1 heart friendly vegetable cooking oil brand, under the umbrella of Raffles Oil LFTZ Enterprise. The project team is currently on a trail reaching out to National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) Orientation Camps Pan Nigeria.

The Power Oil health team left an experience that will not be forgotten in a hurry in the minds of staff and the 2017 Batch B (Stream 1) corp members at the various NYSC Orientation camps all across, Lagos, Rivers, Abuja, Imo, Enugu, Anambra through the opportunity to receiving free basic medical checkup and comprehensive lecture on the significance of leading a healthy conscious lifestyle.

In each of these cities, Power Oil Health Team was present along with its medical professionals one of whom took the entire staff and the 2017 Batch B Corp members on a health talk centered on significant factors contributing to leading a sound and healthy life in relations to the heart.
As the usual practice, Power oil also presented the platform to receive free basic medical checkup (BMI, Blood Pressure, and Body temperature), medical consultation/ nutritional advice and the opportunity to directly experience the nutritious taste and quality of the brand through some products donation for healthy cooking at the camp.

Speaking on the activity, Amisha Chawla, Brand Manager, Power Oil, said “as part of the corporate social responsibility of Power Oil, we felt the need to offer something more to our consumers considering the costs of accessing medical check-up in the country and the low level of awareness on the need to stay healthy”.`

Also, present at the NYSC camp was Ms. Omotayo Azeez, Public Relations Manager, Power Oil, she said “As the need to further reach out to more Nigerians becomes imperative, we are more than delighted to extend our reach towards the youth segment, considering the alarming rate of heart health complications which we believe sometimes can be avoidable through proper enlightenment and regular checkups, and that is what we are trying to achieve.”

The state coordinators all commended the initiative, being a project that stresses on healthy living and maintenance of good eating habits. The Rivers State Coordinator, National Youth Service Corp, Mr. Omotayo Adewoye expressed his profound appreciation to Raffles Oil LFTZ Enterprise makers of the brand for the efforts in the health arena.
Power Oil is endorsed by the Nigerian Heart Foundation. It will also be recalled that Power Oil Health Camp is currently in partnership with the Ministries of health in Ogun State as well as Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development in Lagos, Kaduna State, Oyo State, Edo State, Delta State.
