The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has declared that Bayelsa is not a south-south state but part of the south-east.

This means that if eventually Biafra finally comes into existence, Bayelsa would be part of the new country, according to Kanu’s explanation.

Nnamdi Kanu said an Igbo man is more related to someone from Bayelsa than one from Maiduguri

Vanguard reports that the chief agitator made this claim when he welcomed some supporters from Bayelsa adding that an Igbo man is more related to a man from the state rather than one from Maiduguri.

that Kanu was joined by his father to welcome the Biafran supporters from Bayelsa.

He expressed hope that Nigeria will return to its pre-colonial days soon.

Meanwhile, ZENITHBLOG.com reports that the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has said that there is nothing patriotic about Igbo governors wearing Hausa/Fulani attires to public functions.

MASSOB made the assertion in a communique issued on Wednesday, June 21.

Uchenna Madu, leader of MASSOB berated the governors of Ebonyi and Enugu states, Dave Umahi and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, respectively, for putting on Hausa/Fulani attire at the recent meeting between Igbo leaders and the Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, at the Presidential Villa.
