Leave religion out of this – Nigerians slam Evans the kidnapper’s wife after she said he is a good Christian

– Many Nigerians are still celebrating the capture of kidnap kingpin Evans

– But that celebration has turned to anger after his wife spoke on his arrest

– She said he is a good Christian and as such, the government should have mercy on him

ZENITHBLOG.com had earlier reported that Precious, the wife of Evans the kidnapper had come out to plead for mercy on her husband’s behalf.

The mother of two also insinuated that her husband was a good Christian who read his bible (Psalm 23) daily and as a result, he should be set free because she is also willing to confess.

Taking to social media, many Nigerians have revealed their fury at Precious with many reminding her that her husband caused undue stress and sorrow for many families. They also asked her to keep religion out of this.
