– Some victims of fake couple landlord in Lagos have cried out for help

– The victims said they were duped while they were seeking apartment in Iponri area of the state

– They lamented that although the husband had been arrested by the police, they have not got any clue of how they would get their monies back

Some people who were allegedly being duped by fake couple landlord over the rent of apartments in Iponri area of Surulere, Lagos state have begged Nigerians to come to their aid so that their money would be refunded.

In a message sent to ZENITHBLOG.com by a Facebook user Hayden Aydeen, one of the victims, Kunle lawal who is also a teacher said the couple landlord have swindled over 200 people of amount that ranged between N220,000 and N600,000.

He said although the police have arrested the husband, nothing has been done to by the police to help them get their monies refunded.

He said: “Please help over 200 people duped by a husband and wife. Some of us paid more than 600,000 for an apartment at 56, Moshalashi Street Iporin, Surulere, Lagos.

“I have video evidence, photos and we have gone to Alagbon, the husband has been arrested but nothing is being done. The police said they are investigating the matter and the rich amongst us have left us to our fate, please help us ZENITHBLOG.com, I have videos, photos and the wife is nowhere to be found.

“I paid 220,000 for a single room self-contained and I discovered that the same apartment was given to more than 14 people. Hoodlums are over the place and we have gone to Alausa to protest but people are beginning to lose hope saying we cannot get justice because it’s alleged that some soldiers that are victims too have got their money refunded. The couple did the same thing at Orile and Aguda.

Another victim, Hayden Aydeen said: “I have video evidence, photos and we have gone to Alagbon, the husband has been arrested but nothing is being done. The police said they are investigating the matter and the rich amongst us have left us to our fate, please help us ZENITHBLOG.com, I have videos, photos and the wife is nowhere to be found.

“I paid 170,000 for a single room self-contained and I discovered that the same apartment was given to more than 15 people, hoodlums are over the place and we have gone to Alausa to protest but people are beginning to lose hope saying we cannot get justice because it’s alleged that some soldiers that are victims too have got their money refunded, and it is alleged the couple did the same thing at Orile and Aguda because we met some victims too from Orile and Aguda.

“Please help, he has been charged to court, and he is rich he can buy his way to freedom, we need the public to know because people have started living in the apartment as if nothing happened because she called them and gave them the keys, some people said we could not go to the press unless police give us permission to do so and the man will be freed since he had been given bail.

“These are there different account numbers: 3105251131 FUNMILAYO BUKKY AKINGBOJU, FIRST BANK. This is her first bank account. Their company name is Tunde Korede Investment Company. He has been granted bail of 100, 000 and surety like sum.”
