Sahara Reporters is reporting that Nigerian petrol depot owners and oil marketers have planned to shut down the nation’s oil supplies from July 1, 2017.
Fuel scarcity looms
ZENITHBLOG.com gathered that the oil marketers’ alleged planned action follows the failure of the federal government to pay the N600billion owed them for providing fuel.

The report comes just about two days after the Department of State Services (DSS) released the managing director of Capital Oil and Gas Limited Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah, a top oil marketer, from detention.
The oil magnate was released on Monday night, June 19, unconditionally by the DSS after his arrest following a rift he had with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
