The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra Nnamdi Kanu has revealed why a former minister of aviation Osita Chidoka defiled all odds to drive him out of Kuje Prison after perfecting his bail condition.
In a chat at his father’s palace in Isiama Afara Ukwu, Umuahia, Abia state, Kanu said Chidoka is a consensus Igbo man and exhibited such attributes on April 28 when he was released from Kuje Prison.
Kanu said: “He (Chidoka) came to pick me up from the prison because he is a consensus Biafran and a respected Igbo man.”

He however, said that the by the former minister is unrelated to his (Chidoka’s) plan to run for gubernatorial election in Anambra state in 2018.
“I have made it very clear; there would be no election in Anambra state. I have heard about him (Chidoka), he is a very popular fellow, I have known him but not in a close relationship before my release,” Kanu said.
He further denied claims that the present governor of Anambra state Willie Obiano gifted him N50
He said the former minister is a true Igbo man
ZENITHBLOG.com had reported that former minister of aviation and corps marshal of the Federal Road Saftety Corps had on April 28, driven Nnamdi Kanu of Kuje Prison in Abuja.
Chidoka drove the IPOB leaders in a black Mercedes SUV amidst a convoy from the prison to the Federal high Court in Abuja where Kanu ‘signed out’.
ZENITHBLOG.com gathered that the former minister also drove Kanu from the court to an unknown location in Abuja where he spent the night.
The IPOB leader was released after he perfected the bail condition which was granted to him by Justice Binta Nyako on April 25.
