DSS releases 2 IPOB members Mohammed, Onuorah after 12 months in detention (photo)

– Two members of the Indigenous People of Biafra have been released by the DSS

– The IPOB members are Henry Onuorah and Baseh Mohammed

– They were arrested in Port Harcourt, Rivers state on July 9, 2016

The Department of State Services (DSS) on Friday, June 23, released two members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

ZENITHBLOG.com gathered that the duo Henry Onuorah and Baseh Mohammed were arrested on July 9, 2016, in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.

They were said to have been released after rigorous legal efforts made by Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the counsel to the IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu.

ZENITHBLOG.com had reported that the leader of the IPOB was also

released on April 28, after spending one year and six months in detention.

Kanu who was arrested by the DSS in October 2015, was released after a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja granted him bail.
