According to Vanguard, the book appears to be a broader account of the contributions of several individuals to the successes of the party as opposed to the president’s authorized biography written by Prof. John Paden.

The book “Muhammadu Buhari: The

Challenge of Leadership in Nigeria” diminished the roles of some of the leaders and noticeable left out the name of Chief Odigie-Oyegun in all its 24-chapters.

In reaction to the invasion of the office of The Sun publishing limited by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Obono-Obla said the anti-graft agency “went there to do its job of fighting financial crimes”.

According to an earlier report by ZENITHBLOG.com, Obono-Obla’s projection on the stay of the ruling party is a reminder of the statement former military head of state Ibrahim Babangida (IBB) made that the Peoples Democratic Party can rule for 60 years “provided it can put its house in order”.

Babaginda made this known on Saturday, March 11, when he received leaders of the party at his Hilltop mansion in Minna, Niger state capital.
